Kuhn Rikon shears

They have usually been available once a year, and I know there was speculation that they would become available mid to late October. I was hoping to get some for Christmas gifts for friends. But with the departure of MCM, it doesn't look like there will be any this year. Have I missed something?

I asked on the coffee talk chat two weeks ago, David said he believes they are coming. But my purchase last year was definitely October. Ordered last year on 10/20.

@lynnie61 Those shears have been a staple in my kitchen for over 20 years. Dan Hughes sold them to me and I wouldn't be without them.

I say "them" because the purchase I made included the large shears and a small pair.

@Illinoisborn I saw a 2 pack of similar shears on HSN for $20.00--item # 873-102.

Would have bought them but shipping is $5.50. Will wait for a free shipping day.
