Question about Lock n Lock glass containers

I'm thinking about ordering K85498, a set of 3 of Locknlock borosilicate glass containers. During the video, the vendor said you could actually use this glass in an air fryer. Just wondering if this is correct since the written description doesn't mention using in an air fryer as an option. Have any of you used their glass containers this way?

borosilicate glass can usually be used in an air fryer.

If the bowls fit I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the air fryer as long you are mindful of the heat limits of the glass which is stated to be 500 degrees.

However, just like prior to using in the oven check for fractures, cracks or other deformities. If there are any do not use in either the oven or air fryer.

@Marp Should be trashed! Both can leave slivers of glass in food.

I have the set of 4 and I use them all the time! Haven't tried the air fryer but use them in the Breville toaster oven.

I think those claims are misleading and could be dangerous. I would not use any container with the air fry function. In order to "air fry", there must be air flow all around the food.

However, if your air fryer is like mine, it also has "bake, broil and reheat" functions that don't need the air flow. In those cases I use glass or aluminum containers.

I'm not an expert and I could be wrong about this, but I would err on the side of caution.
