What are your favorite pizza toppings?

I'm a purist. I like Margherita, with lite sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and a little olive oil. DH likes every vegetable you can think of! We always do half and half!

Hard to believe, we haven't had pizza in over 7 years now...

But when we did, I loved bacon & ground beef w/extra cheese.

@Susan Louise. I also am not a big pizza fan. Can't remember the last time I had one. If I have to eat it, I like it with an Alfredo sauce and chicken. Don't care for marinara and greasy sausage or pepperoni. Cheese can be greasy too.

@Kachina624 I never said I didn't like pizza...

I LOVED pizza, but because we changed our lifestyle in 2018, we don't have it anymore.

As for fat, we don't avoid it whatsoever...only buy the fattiest meats like 80/20 ground beef, fatty rib eyes, brisket, LOTS of bacon etc. We also add real butter, beef tallo and bacon fat when we prepare our food like scrambled eggs.

We don't injest sugars/grains/seed oils/fruits or veggies.

The only exception...

DH will have the occassional salad a couple of times a week, but that's it. He is carnivore 5 days a week and I am carnivore every day.

I don't eat pizza anymore, but when I did....it was meat...lots of meat (sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, etc).

I could eat pizza 3-4 times a week but don't! If it's my favorite pizza from the Star Tavern in Orange, N.J. I like it plain...otherwise onions and mushrooms. OH YUM!!

I love a GOOD pizza..and we all know some are better than others. My favorites are Veggie Pizza and Hawaiian Pizza (pineapple and ham) and Margherita Pizza. Now I am hungry for one. 😋

I like pepperoni or extra cheese. I also like to add grated pecorino Romano cheese, crushed red pepper, or Franks red hot sauce.

My sister likes a clam pie. EEEW!

Not a lover of things too spicy, so I default to chunks of meatballs and black olives with plenty of mozzarella.

The black olives give me a serving of vegetables.

DH and I changed our way of eating six years ago but we haven't given up pizza. We just eat the tops and leave the crust. I like a lot of combinations but I can be happy with a few slices of plain cheese too.

@Susan Louise. Your diet is IMO gross. My doctor would have a fit.
