    <description>&lt;P&gt;I just dug out my 20 year old food dryer, that plastic thing with a bunch of vented trays in it.  Of course I don't have the instructions and I don't remember how I used to do this.  Do some varieties of apples work better?  How many hours or days will this take? &lt;/P&gt;</description>
