Chipped enamel on 1 yr use. Yes used appropriate utensils. Totally disappointed QVC hypes the brand as a durable enamel.

It certainly is durable. Curious how you chipped the enamel. My friend has had his Le Creuset set for over 25 years and it's going strong. As noted, go to their web site to learn about their warranty.

I have a set my mother gave me in 1975. Some of the pans have the wood handles. Plus, I have a few extra sets and pieces I've collected through the years. I've never had a probelm with one chipping. I did cook something on a little too high of heat one time and the food burned and stuck like crazy. It took forever to get it back in working order again. I still collect and buy used pieces if I think they are a bargain. I do baby my Le Creuset cookware. I nevert put them in the dishwasher and hand wash them. Any enameled cookware needs to be used with care.
