I have no doubt these are good, because I can buy Hatfield Premium Reserve pork chops at my local supermarket for $5.49 per pound. They are injected with a salt brine, and they are delicious and so tender! I just made some this week. If you are on the east coast and have Hatfield products in your market, ask the meat department about them. In our area they are available at Giant (Martin's elsewhere). You have to be prepared to deal with a fair amount of fat.

We experienced these about two years ago when my best friend gave us a huge bag of these for Christmas. Her DH works for Hatfield, and they can buy the "rejects" at the company store for much less. They are geat on the grill without using any seasoning. Just oil them up a bit.

I tried this item and there is too much fat streaks and gristly stuff running thru them. They taste ok but that kind of thing grosses me out. And all of them had it not just 1 or 2---got my $ back

I see over at HSN that Curtis Stone is also selling his pork ribeyes. His configuration is 12 and also 6 oz. each for $85. It also comes with small tub of garlic butter.

Both offerings are $7 a portion.

I wouldn't ever be interested in them. I buy a tray of thick boneless pork loin chops at our Costco warehouse and repackage them myself with my vaccum sealer. A tray of 8 large chops is under $20. Each one averages 10 oz., which makes it an exception value.

Our local grocery chain (Giant) sells Rastelli products. I bought a 1lb pack of 90% lean ground beef, $5.99. I did not care for it at all! It had a lot of gristle, seemed very fatty.

I think the store brand is better, and their grass-fed brand that they sell is very good.

I will not buy any of their products on QVC because of the price, and now that I've tried one of the meat products, I do not think I would care for anything that they sell.

I like Hatfield products. I will keep an eye out for the porkchops.

If there are directions on the package, they will tell you how long they can be kept in the freezer. The common phrase is "When in doubt, throw it out."
