I believe thaf's a countertop oven or a toaster oven, and you don't move it. It's plugged into the wall behind it.

@Ainhisg It is a Toaster/Oven and no, you couldn't use it in the cabinet, they get way too hot for that.

@Desertdi I agree, I like keeping certain things on my counter tops anyway, like my Vitamix Blender and Toaster/Oven.

That's a Breville toaster oven. I use mine constantly. It's on the counter. It is heav.

@Kachina624 Oh my yes, I need that. I would love to totally redo my kitchen. I have an empty dining room (wasted space) and if I only had the cash flow, I would extend my kitchen into that dining room, with extra cabinet space, but I know the total redo would probably be in excess of 75K. And we surely aren't PWM (people with money). We live well day to day, but that's a hefty drop!

This alone would practically close the deal if the home were for sale.

I sold real estate for a few years and have been in and out of many sizes of homes in a variety of price ranges.

While it might seem ridiculous to some, I think every home being built needs a small storage room or a mini "warehouse".

(Not every home has an attic and basement these days.)

People just love their stuff ..... and it's hard to give it up, I guess.

My clever cousin and her Doctor husband designed much of their house when it was being built. They designed a cabinet in the corner of the kitchen counter. It was designed to exactly fit her Kitchenaid mixer.

The mixer slid out of the cabinet and would slid back into the cabinet when she was done. There were also shelves for the large mixing bowls and assorted accessories.

@Tinkrbl44. The first I look for on a floor plan is the amount of storage space. Especially important in a small house.

When we remodeled our kitchen we put wall to wall & floor to ceiling pantry cabinets like that. Mine doesn't have the top cabinets that look like they open upwards. The doors on mine have the taller cabinets at top & shorter at bottom like those in pic. My bottom doors are taller though. I have more. They go across a 12 ft wall.

One cabinet has 2 pressure cookers, 2 Nesco roaster ovens, 2 dutch ovens, slow cooker, rice cooker, Waffle iron, hand mixer, larger platters etc.

DH has bowls he uses when he makes bread, bread pans, bread board. He also has supplies he uses when he cooks on the grill or smoker like disposable tinfoil pans, grill toppers etc.

Forgot about 2 cast irons skillets. Didn't want to store those in the drawers in the kitchen.

I also keep those 205 sq ft rolls of parchment paper & 500 sq ft rolls of heavy duty tinfoil in those large boxes in the pantry.

@Desertdi Oh wow! We have the same sewing machine in our bedroom with a screen TV on it. I bought it and restored it over 40 years ago. It actually works! However, the machine head is stored in the belly of the table.

Only sort of problem I have with it is when I have to dust/clean all the metal pieces down below. grrrr. I tried the vacuum brush attachment and it just doesn't do the trick. Still have to get down there with a micro cloth.
