Good evening and happy new years to all of you wonderful friends. Hellie jo those are great movies. We have watched them many times over the years.the odd couple movie they did together was really good too. It poured through the night and tomorrow where expecting very high winds. My mil cooked dinner today. She made lentils with potatoes, carrots as a thick soup. Plus roasted red peppers, a ham, fried artichokes, and more artichokes cook in a spicy sauce , Italian ham and provolone cheese, roasted potatoes, fruit and she made a cheesecake. Tonight were just going to have a sandwich. Me Italian ham and provolone and ria wants a half a peanut butter sandwich. Leftovers for the next 2 days. We have alot of leftovers in the fridge to eat.have a great years everyone.

Well I am in the air on my way home from Disney. Last night we went to Art Smith's Homecoming to try his famous fried chicken. It was awful! but the hushpuppies we had for an appetizer were delicious. Art Smith was actually in the restaurant greeting guests but we did not meet him.

I have no idea what we will be eating tonight as I suspect we will be hungry when we get home since there is no meal service on the flight - too short. By skipping lunch we will be ready for something to eat when we get home.

Brewing up a pot of chili to serve over pasta & topped with cheese, onions, crushed Fritos, avocado, sour cream. Will bake an apple crisp to top with vanilla ice cream, even though our temps our low teens & single digits wind chill.

Stay warm & out of the stormy weather if you can. Have a good evening!

Last night I made flatbread pizza with the flatbread I bought at Aldi. I usually make my own pizza dough, with varying results. These flatbreads made it so easy and they were delicious.

Tonight we're having sandwiches with leftover potroast and potato pancakes made with leftover mashed potatoes.
