Should I Return It?

Needed to replace my 8" frying pan so while at Home Goods I picked up an All-Clad nonstick pan. When I got home I read the contents and it contains PFSA chemicals along with other materials. I realize nonstick pans contain these chemicals, there has been such controversies about these chemicals. I'm having second thoughts about keeping it. I wasn't thinking when I bought it. Would you return it?

I would definitely return it. I only buy cookware from Curtis Stone on HSN as his pans are free of chemicals. I am sure there are other brands out there as well, but I love everything I have bought from CS.

If concerned , Exchange it for another pan PFSA safe pan which Home Goods sell. They offer a couple brands of PFSA safe ceramic cookware

Yes, for peace of mind, I would return the pan, but these "forever chemicals" are everywhere in everything that impacts your life every single day.

I would return it, I never use non-stick anything. Years ago, my dad taught me how to cook in stainless steel and that is all that I use. I also have Parrots and non-stick fumes will kill them very quickly. None of that is allowed around my house.

I also use mostly stainless steel and I love it! I put coconut oil in and let it get hot before adding food. The food doesn't stick and clean up is easy!

Yes, return the nonstick pan!

I vote for cast iron. It is not hard to keep seasoned. I have two fry pans from my mom's belongs and the have worn down to pure gloss.

Recently purchased a Green Pan and the food sears well but no sticking.

Food glides, cooks well and no harmful chemicals.

@rockygems123 Thanks for your suggestion, but after the 2019 lawsuit on Green Pan products, though dismissed, I'm still leary of their products being chemical free. I may be overthinking.
