To be fair, some of the food on QVC is OK, some not so, but NONE of it would qualify as a "value" purchase in my mind. In this case, the emphasis is on the "C" part.

I'm pretty sure there are no good values on food from any shopping channels. But I have high standards when it comes to food.

I don't think there are any ""values"" since it's all convenience food but it sure does look yummy.

The only food I've ever ordered from the Q are the Kind bars. They were a TSV one Sunday when I was hungry and I dialed in. I had never tasted them before and they are delicious. For the TSV there were 28 for $37. Now there are 18 for $37, so I've never reordered. If they ever have them for $37 for 28 again, I'll get them on auto delivery.

I like the KIND bars, but I get mine on Amazon. QVC's prices for these are massively expensive.

I've gotten a number of food items from QVC over the years and I hesitate to say much because those of us who have purchased food items on QVC are usually told how stupid we must be, on this board.

One seasonal favorite is the KC ham. They are great quality and not pumped full of water, salt, or that fake smoke stuff - all of which are things that others put in their hams. So, this makes the KC ones superior to most. As for 'value' - some might say it's not a value. For me, it pretty much is because I get a TON of meals out of one ham so the 'per use' price is very low. Yeah, you can get cheaper hams but I'd rather pay for the quality

I also like some of the Stuffin' Gourmet parm-crusted type chicken breasts. They are individually vacuum sealed and are nice and plump and tasty, if you cook them right. It's good for a quick meal - just add a starch or a veg and I'm good - when I don't feel like really cooking. I would not cook them from frozen, like they show, though. They do much better if you thaw them first. Besides, cooking poultry from frozen is just generally a bad idea.

I remember a thread a while back when they were the TSV. Some people got upset/angry and said it IS a value/good deal if you were in a position where you couldn't get to walmart or were homebound, etc. I thought, "Y, that may be true, but get a better price & order them from Amazon!" They have combos that Q doesn't have. Everytime KIND Bars are on, I bring up the Amazon page to compare. Yes, you may not get the EXACT flavors(bc I think they bring some here b4 hitting other retail markets), but i'd much rather get a flavor I like for a better price and just wait for the new ones to come to Amazon.

We ordered Corky's several years ago bc we'd tasted it for the 1st time on a casino boat. Then, we made our way to Gatlinburg & ate @ the restaurant. After that, we never ordered them again. They were a little pricey for what you got. Plus, now you can find some of their items @ the grocery store.

I look @ the Mrs. Prindables apples every year, but that price keeps me from buying them. I figure I can get the ingredients and make my own. However, some people really enjoy buying food from Q. Maybe if I didn't cook, I would.
