Temptations so heavy!

I ordered the 3 qt. casserole with the lid tray a couple weeks ago. really beautiful in the white woodland BUT...the dish weighed almost 10 pounds ..empty! So heavy for me so I'm sending it back. i shipped it back on 9/26 and it hasn't credited my payment yet. Really pretty bowl but just too heavy.

We have every piece made in woodland taupe and I had to move it from our upper kitchen cabinet! I was afraid the weight would rip the cabinet off the wall. It started out ok, but as we added pieces, it got to be way too much weight. I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and it just kills my hands to life the loaf pans or the 9x13 baking dish. If we didn't have the whole set, I would get rid of it and go with Corelle, or something much lighter.

They definitely are heavy. I have had at least 3 of them crack. Fortunately they didn't crack completely when in the oven except for one of them leaked out of the bottom. I'm done with Temptations and Made in China. I thought maybe she would have changed.

I ordered the cast iron braiser Todays Special from HSN. It came yesterday I could barely lift the box to bring it off porch -- going back too heavy for me.

I store my Temptations in my hutch and lower cabinets...I agree they are heavy.

I,too, have arthritis in my hands and all of the Temptations are way too heavy. The ones I bought several years ago weren't heavy then but I was several years younger too! Love the idea but hate the weight and the fact that they're made in China.
