I wash my lids by hand as soon as possible. I do not let them soak or put in dish washer. Also sometimes I even cover the Locknlock with plastic and then put the lid on if there is a lot of moisture for long period of time in frig or on the go. It's mold that accumulates when left moist.

I have some LnL lids that have a brownish color around the inside of some of the lids. I've tried soaking and using a brush, but nothing is working. I'm just not using them right now.

Any advice?

I have a mix of brands, but all of then, top and bottom, can go in the washer just fine.

It took a while for me to discover that the colored 'bracelet ring' does come out of its slot in the lid and does well on my top silverware drawer. Might take a bit to dry thoroughly.

DH uses a water bleach mixture to let it soak. Washes with hot soapy water after the soak. I'm not sure what ratio of water to bleach he uses. It has removed stains.
