I think you are lucky indeed. All of my pieces cracked (just fine lines) even during the first time I use them in the oven. Temptations CS said it was still safe to bake if the cracks were superficial. However, I just keep them on my shelves and may only use them for chill/cold items. I don't want to take the risk of breaking while cooking a meal. I rather have regular Pyrex baking or aluminum pans.

I have lots of Temp-tations pieces from the beginning and from recent purchases and have had no problems whatsoever with cracking, crazing, or anything else. I'm sure it's frustrating for those who do have issues, but my experience has been great overall.

Clean-up is a breeze, and I have the bakers with plastic lids for wonderful refrigerator storage. Fortunately, I have never had a casserole dish crack on me, but I know it happens. The only thing I've seen in one of my bakers (have been using them for about 20 years), is crazing. That is the little spider cracks that occur on many stoneware bakers over the years. I agree that Temp-tations may not be reliable, because I've heard any number of horror stories. I just don't have a bad story to share.

Sorry this happened. I have one floral lace piece that crazed and I use it under a plant now. Firework floral lace. But I usually bake in my 9x13 polka dot, so you know how old that is. I have ALOT that I only serve in. (Ramkins, mugs, platters. Use the same 9x13 baker and lid it a lot. I do always make sure the he baker is near room temp. I don't take from freezer or fridge directly to oven.
