Nice gadget for like fried potatoes, hamburger helper,

baked beans, etc. I don't eat it , but, mexican rice, etc.

I think it seems like a nice product, at a nice price, and would make a nice Mother's Day gift. It's is larger than what is practical for me though.

I ordered one as well. I HATE my stovetop (glasstop electric) so anything I can find to use instead of my stove burners I will try it. I'm a little afraid it is too big. The price was great though and I am a huge fan of the Durapans.

@SharkE - You mentioned hamburger helper and it reminded me of something from years ago shortly after I got married.

I grew up eating hamburger helper. I was one of 5 children and our family didn’t have much money so it was an inexpensive way to feed us all. I always liked hamburger helper. I made it one night for my husband and children and his comment was, “what is this mess?” 🤨

His mom made everything from scratch, including tomato sauce that he loved. I hate to cook and told him not to expect or compare my cooking to his mother’s and that he’s free to make himself a sandwich! 😠

Yeah, I was married to one of those. Was no fun always being compared to a goddess. She even ironed her grandsons BVD's ! My sister in law's son, her grandson.

I, personally, like Hamburger helper. Cheeseburger

and the beef noodle. Make couple of meals out of it and not put in as much hamburger as they recommend

I don't even care if my spag has meat in it. Not big on beef.

Those days are behind me now and I'm glad.

This pan is a great deal and also a great gift.

How is it at clean up? Does anyone own it? Since it's electric I know it's not submersible in water. Or, does it come completely apart for washing?

My friend has had her CS electric skillet for several years, same one, and nothing sticks to it. She just ordered a second one. The electric cord unplugs and then you can take it to the sink and wash it out. Just don't get the plug part submerged under water.

I bought two of the Curtis Stone 14" skillets to put up for Christmas gifts. I have the 10" skillet one in red. All my bakeware and cookware is Curtis Stone. I have never been disappointed.

Never had a problem with any of Curtis Stone products. All my kids love them for gifts. They all got Curtis Stone bakeware with their Christmas gifts along with a card with money. All in the colors they loved too.

LOL! We must have the same stove. I HATE mine too!! It's a Frigidaire, and pretty new. I can't get the thing clean no matter what I do, constantly looks oil streaked-

I bought one of these skillets also, to avoid the dang stovetop!

@Skyegirl21it makes a great countertop though LOL Mine stays nice and clean now because I don't use it to cook anything! I use to have to use a razor blade to clean the ring area and a stovetop cleaner then a polishing cloth to make it shine UGH

My biggest issue is how it cooks - seems like it takes forever to heat then it burns because it takes forever to cool back down. I have an induction burner that I love but I'm hoping the electric skillet will kind of be like an all in one pan.

I have watched or purchased any of his products on HSN. After seeing a couple of threads on here I headed over there and checked out the pan. I put one in my cart but the hard sell on all of the other products of his while doing the demo was so annoying. I decided to forget it.

I did go back yesterday and use my coupon and picked it up still at the TSV price.

I received mine yesterday. Sadly, I am returning it. That thing is HUGE!! It is much larger than I envisioned and for me that just doesn't work. I did like the depth of it and it was light weight but the size made it not practical for my purposes. I'll bet you'd have to have at least 2 boxes of Hamburger Helper to even cover the bottom of the pan LOL

@In-x-s the size works for me especially when the family gets together. There was a smaller one but haven't seen it in a while.
