French Croissants from HSN

I bought the french croissants from qvc a couple of years ago but only at a special price for the day.

I ordered the ones from hsn. They were on a one day price and I had kash so I decided to try them. 30.00!

I feel like they are the same ones that qvc sells but at a much better price. Tasty too.

I went on auto ship at the sale price of 35.00 normally 49.00. Qvc price is probably over 80.00. I won't spend that much.

Glad I did auto ship. This was the one item I have missed.

Good to know as the Q prices are outrageous like you said .Sometimes I think it could be from the same source but just goes under a different name.

I do enjoy watching Guy on Tuesday with his food show and also Cooking with Callie on Friday evenings.

@luvmyteddy4 , I ordered the French croissants from HSN many years ago and have to agree that they were some of the best. They were a good size and really buttery when baked. I wished I had placed them on auto-delivery. I have tried another brand and they did not compare in taste or the portion size of those sold at HSN.

Are these the ones that come flat and frozen? I really liked those, but can't justify the price, or at least QVC's price. I wanted to try the mini chocolate ones.

If you belong to Costco, they sell delicious croissants made with real butter for about $6 a dozen.

I have purchased them many times. I serve them filled with chicken salad for backyard parties or baby showers or make sandwiches with them My family heats them in the air fryer or oven and eats them with butter and jam.

They are a bargain and I always get compliments. Everyone thinks they came from a fancy bakery. They are huge and fluffy with lots of buttery layers.

They also freeze well. I always have a few in my freezer.

I just can't figure out why they sell for so cheap...but, not complaining.

Croissants aren't something DH and I eat anymore but our carb eating family likes them. I buy them from the Costco bakery for holiday dinners and they all seem to go. They're huge, so if you don't mind the presentation they can be cut in half.

Yes they come in a bag of 20 frozen flat and the big ones. hsn mine were still frozen with dry ice. They seem exactly the same.
It looks like Q has the 20 large for 55.00 on sale. hsn 49.95
I'm glad I did the auto ship.

I loved the mini chocolate ones q had.

I like the Costco ones, but you have to buy so darn many at one time. I know you can freeze them. I do that any time I buy croissants, but they take up a lot of space and my freezer space is limited.

True, @Icegoddess . Fortunately, we have a chest freezer in the garage and a side-by-side refrigerator out there too. I only use the SBS three seasons out of the year - spring, summer, and fall.

I like Costco's too. There is too many for just myself.

Trader Joe's sells them in a couple flavors in a box of 4 (frozen), I defrost one or two in my Pyrex pie pan covered with cling free. By morning they are ready to bake.

They are made in France. We started buying them years ago and I swear they are the same one's Q used to sell .
years ago, Q had a vendor called the Authentic Gourmet and they sold croissants in different flavors and sizes. They were made in France. At the time AG , that's all they sold on the Q.
