Has anyone tried Coke Spiced?

Our local large grocery chain was giving a can of this last week with your loyalty card. Raspberry flavored. I normally would like cherry coke, etc. This reminded me of cough syrup. A pass for me. Now I see this same grocery chain offering a free 12 pack of this with a purchase of two 12 packs (any flavor coke purchase). I would say they are trying to get rid of their inventory.

Has anyone tried this? Maybe I'm just not used to much pop these days.

I really like the Coke Spiced Raspberry Zero. It has a light spice flavor, with a pleasant raspberry right after swallowing. I always choose the Zero in drinks.

They are popular here, with the Zero choice being the hardest to find.

No one is giving them away here.

😮I have NOT and will NOT!!😁 I was among the customers upset years past and marched with pitch forks when they changed the ORIGINAL formula, and were forced to bring it back!😂 I was a happy Sparkle!🥰 I LOOOVE❤ fresh raspberries, but this is a definite thumbs down for me!👎😊

I liked it but I also make Raspberry Coke with my Soda Stream so it tasted very similar to what I've drank for years.

All of my co-workers hated it though. All the online reviews I've seen have not liked it either.

Doubt it will stick around long. Orange Coke didn't survive either.

@lynnie61 I bought a bottle yesterday, the Spiced Zero.

I didn't hate it, but I don't think I would buy it. I would have to try it with some Doritos to see how it goes with that!

My husband likes it, so he might want more. He usually drinks Cherry Coke Zero.

The only time I like anything other than my Diet Coke is when I go to Frishch's Big Boy & get a Diet Vanilla Coke.

@Dusty1 I rarely drink pop, but I do love a cherry coke. I didn't know it was offered in the Zero. Now, I'm gonna have to find some lol.

@cheriere Nothing to do with spice Coke, but I saw you called it "pop" in your reply. That's what we Minnesotans call it, but my late husband (who was from New York) always said "soda."

Regional differences are interesting to me.

@Zitawins I'm from NJ,NY area. I'm with your husband with soda. However I say donut never cruller.

I was a Diet Coke addict for many many years.........1 liter and two large 6 packs a week. Started drinking at breakfast. Quit cold turkey a few years ago. Very occasionally I'll have a sip of diet Dr Pepper. The last time I opened a small bottle, it took me a month to drink it.

I did taste a "Mexican Coke" two weeks ago at a Mexican restaurant. It's the coke that's made with cane sugar and it was very very good.

My new addiction is Spicy Cinnamon Black Tea. LOL

@cindyNC - I was too! Although I never let myself drink one before noon. I was addicted to it, and I actually craved it! During my pregnancies I didn't drink any; I switched to Sprite.

Like you I went "cold turkey" about 10 years ago. No soda at all. I drink Sprite or Squirt if I have an upset stomach. I LOVE Mexican coke! I have one once or twice a year, and only if we're out.

I also allow myself a root beer at Iron Hill. But we don't go there that much.

I drink Hint and ICE.

@cheriere @Zitawins @Dusty1 The one I tried was regular, not the zero. So now I might have to try the zero. In Pittsburgh we say pop never soda. And we say donuts!

I would pass on this completely. I prefer my Diet Coke plain. We say soda in WI and we have donuts and crullers, a cruller is a long cakey cragely, dense donut that is deep fried so the outside is brown and it has been dipped in a white glaze. A donut is everything else.

I tried it yesterday. Publix had single bottles in the check out line case. Glad I only bought one because i didn't care for it. Reminded me a cough drop with the aftertaste.

I grew up in NY and have always said "soda". I thought "pop" was a midwestern thing.

I also say donut. I don't believe "cruller" is synonymous with donut; it is a type of donut, usually an elongated twisted cake donut. And french cruller is something entirely different (light and round - also twisted I think).

I love the new spice coke. I'm always the odd one who likes these things. I'm still hoping they will bring back Starlight, that was my favorite.

In the south, we say coke for everything. We never say cruller, only donut.

I bought a single bottle of Coke Zero just to try it. I did not like it. I went back to my Diet coke.

I grew up in Western PA and we always called it "pop". When I married and moved to Northern Virginia it took me a while to call it "soda". In both states we always called them "donuts'.
