Insignia Brand Pressure Cooker Recall

The picture of this unit looks identical to my Instant Pot but it has the Insignia brand name.

The inner pot is calibrated incorrectly causing people to over-fill it which has caused scales.

@Kachina624 - Thanks for sharing this information; over the years, I've heard of quite a few issues with appliances/gadgets under Best Buy's in-house Insignia branding.

But I have to admit that I'm far more interested in finding out what "...has caused scales" means in your post—I'm guessing autocorrect may have tried to "help," though I haven't been able to determine what word or phrase it has hijacked. Maybe "scalding"? Or perhaps it's just a late night and my brain isn't fully connecting.

@loriqvc. People over-fill them due to incorrect calibration and the hot steam scalds them. There have been injuries.
