I have no idea what it will be.

I have the Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe Coffee Maker & Espresso Machine with Aeroccino Milk Frother.

I love it.
Most difficult decision is which pods to order.

The pods are expensive and I'll use it for my early morning caffeine fix.

It was custom for my dear sister and I to put money aside for our birthday and Christmas. As I was going through her dresser drawers 'I found an envelope marked Dawnie's Christmas and birthday.

I used it for the Nespresso.

@Alsace Gal I have the same one -- I love it! The pods are a bit pricey, but well worth it, and free shipping on their site. The coffee is amazing, and I've never looked back.

My sister's Keurig just broke. She only drinks coffee very sporadically, about two cups a month. But she had a coffee machine for me because I drive to see her and my mom twice a month (200 miles away).

If this TSV is a good one, I'll buy it and have it shipped to her.

QVC had a Nepresso # K306679 TSV last year .

I bought one like item # K67503 from Bed Bath beyond a couple of yrs ago that was on sale which I like better than my old Keurig . Only down side is that the water does not get as hot as on the Keurig . Thought it just my unit but many remarks on the internet abt this. I press the button once and then let it time out to get the heating element warmed up and then press a second time to make my coffee. I buy the pods from Nespresso company directly

We have had a number of Nespresso machines and loved them all EXCEPT the "Next"! Hunk of junk for sure! It's just the Next--the others worked great.

I am an espresso drinker and have an original line machine for that, hubby likes flavored coffee and regular coffee, so he has one for Vertuo sized pods--but we HAD 2 Next machines and both were junk.

@Sooner A friend of mine had a Next machine and also said it was junk.

@Caaareful Shopper I looked at all the machines QVC has listed today. We have had at home or in office all of the machines listed except the Citiz and no problems EXCEPT the Next. Do not get that model, or one that looks like it.

The Plus has been great, and the Creatista is the top. The others have worked well also for us over many years.

@Sooner Good advice! I've had my Vertuo for about 18 months and absolutely love it.

Mine came with came with 12 pods, I've used 5 and everyone taste bitter.

I had an espresso maker for years and I used ground beans. Never had a bitter taste.

I'd appreciate suggestion for pods from Nespresso.

I love espresso and a good cup of coffee. I also like milk in it, which is an option for me.

@Alsace Gal My favorite all around pod is the Capriccio in the original pod line. If you go to the Nespresso website you can chat with someone to help you find what you like.

I have found very few I don't like though, and over many years have grown to enjoy even the strongest and somewhat bitter ones. They also are good for iced latte's!

I trialed some of their pods, and like you, stayed away from anything bitter. I like a robust coffee. Nothing light or weak or too fruity or

My favorites, with Nespresso's Notes from their website:

1) Melozio = Smooth & Balanced. Honeyed sweetness and the hallmark smooth cereal note of the blend's Brazilian Bourbon Arabica beans.

2) Stormio = Rich & Strong. Dark-roasted all-Arabica blend. Nicaraguan and Guatemalan beans gather strong notes of wood and spice to your palate. Its aromatics carry all the intensity of spicy, woody, cereal aromas and still are smooth and full-bodied - making it a delightfully surprising long black or Americano.

3) Odacio = Bold & Lively. Bold and it’s lively. It brings a full-bodied cereal note and then dares to surprise you with its flourish of fruitiness and delicate acidity at the end.

I like Odacio, but may have what seems a bitterness, but I find it well-balanced and smooth.

Right now they have a limited edition Pumpkin Spice Cake. It's the only flavored coffee I've ever liked. Sweet Pumpkin & Cloves. Wide range of spice notes such as cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, combined with a sweet pumpkin flavor to create this treat inspired by Pumpkin Spice Cake.

I pretty much stick with these only.

go on Nespresso web page , they have different types of coffee

you have to look at coffe description and stregnth rating - mild coffees are around 6 . the higher the number the stronger , so maybe this is why you say they were bitter becuse the free hostess variety pack had many strong or expresso typew coffees .

I buy the mild Nepresso coffees such as Melizio, hazelnut, carmel cookie or Vivida which are all abt 6 rating

Thank you. We were twins and lived together for 25 years. I still haven't come to terms with my dear sister's passing.

Most days it's hour by hour.

Our birthday is in December, this year it will be very difficult as Christmas will be. It's just the two of us, no other family.
