Why haven't we heard about this new bird that apparently has been developed? I'd love to see it "on the hoof".

It would seem that the department designing packaging has never seen a chicken walk. Unless like someone said they are considering the wings as front legs. I keep thinking there has to be a logical explanation, but I cannot find it.

@beckyb1012 Your post reminded me of something that happened with my son, years ago.

My brother's wife is from Hong Kong and many times, they go to Chinatown in Boston, to a real Chinese restaurant. It is not the kind of restaurant that most of us go to, where we get chop suey, fried rice, PuPu platters, etc. The food is what Chinese people traditionally eat.

My brother wanted to take me and my two sons, 9 and 14 years old, to the restaurant for "real" Chinese food. We went there after a museum visit in Boston.

My brother told the boys that they could each order something from the menu. My younger son ordered a shrimp

dish and his brother ordered chicken fingers.

The waiter did not speak English and apparently the only "chicken fingers" they make are the ones that you pictured in

your post.

The look on my son's face was priceless, when the waiter took the cover off the platter. He was horrified. None of us ate those, but my brother said that he would take them home for his wife, she likes them.
