Guy Fieri WorldWide Restaurants

Wow, that guy has a lot of restaurants! Saw some tail end of a show credits, he's everywhere, Mt. Pocono, Cancun, Dubai, Bogota, Carnival Cruise Line, places I've never heard of Pretoria and Guanacaste, had to google those locations. That's not even the whole list.

Has anyone ever been to one of his restaurants? He started out as some loud ha restaurant guy in the North Bay in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County CA.

I have eaten at 2 of his restaurants, Tex Wasabi,and another one which I have forgotten the name of, both have closed. I was not terribly impressed with either. That was many years ago, and maybe have gotten much better over the years.

Yes, I have eaten at Guys Chop House Atlantic City NJ several times and it was great.

I was on a Carnival cruise and he had a pool side hamburger joint there. It was ok.

What I really miss is his Spaghetti sauces. I used to love his spicy sauce. I can't seem to find it anymore. I live in NYC and was only able to buy it in Shop Rite in NJ.

I have absolutely zero interest in him or his food. His shows are a big no for me--from him to what he features.

@Desertdi Luckily mine are almost back to back. Kroger built a new store and Publix demolished their old store and built a new one. They're not in the same parking lot though, so I do have to drive around to get to the other one. I haven't been happy with that Kroger since the pandemic though. It always seems to be messy and not well-stocked. DH & I have both been disappointed in their produce which they advertise as the freshest of fresh. Not so much.

@KBEANS my food sister lol, good to know about his Chop House.

On another note another Corky's chicken breast shipment on its way. Hope the auto-delivery doesn't go away like other recent AD plans, LonoLife, Vintage Wine Estate etc.

@rockygems123 You must be out west. I remember we used to stock up at King Soopers when we went to CO on some of our ski trips. When we started going to Big Sky MT, it was Alberton's. They accepted the Kroger card too.

@rockygems123 No, I have never eaten at one of his restaurants because I always prepare my own food;

HOWEVER, I think VERY HIGHLY of Guy Fieri because he is a huge supporter of local charaties in CA and is very generous (He must have a foundation) with his $$$$.

Also, he is a devoted family man who seems to be bringing his sons into his mega-million $$$$ businesses and is, and always was, very complimentary of his wife who also appears, as he does, very "down to earth."

I will be reading this thread because I'd be very interested in his restaurants reviews. I enjoy the food with my eyes

@Icegoddess Yes we are in the metro Denver area in the burbs. The stores here are fantastic, lots of variety and good prices.

@rockygems123 Alberton's in Belgrade MT had wonderful grab and go sandwiches & wraps. We always grabbed one after we got our groceries for the ride up the mountain. Saved time not having to stop at a restaurant and eat too. The ones my Kroger AND Publix have are pretty tasteless. Such a disappointment.

I haven't tried any of them, but I noticed the other day at Walmart that they had his frozen dinners in the freezer along with some other TV chefs's frozen fare like Gordon Ramsey, Martha Stewart & some other woman who I didn't recognize. They all seemed pretty pricey for TV dinners to me!

I'll never forget on one of our trips to Vegas spouse wanted to go to his restaurant, we looked up the address. We walked which those who've been to Vegas everywhere is a long walk..after an hour we finally found his breakfast place nestled in the casino.

We went in place empty -- they sat us near restrooms (spouse wasn't happy with seating but when he saw the prices ...he said $35 for eggs "let's go"..Omg talk about an embarrassing moment.

We then found a McD and had a great breakfast for $10.

I ate at his restaurant (burger place) in AC I think at Borgata it was OK nothing special would have rather did the great buffet in Borgata😉
