Yesterday I made mini fratattas in my Wilton "non-stick" muffin tin. They are delicious, BUT even though I sprayed the tin before filling they stuck. I was finally able to remove them, but the residue was still stuck on. I filled the tin with soapy water & let it soak overnight. It's morning and the residue is still stuck to the inside of each we'll. Scrub Daddy to the rescue NOT. It did nothing. So, I tried my spare Dobie Pad. Voila! It got the residue right off with very little effort. Guess what's going in the trash. Dobie Pads are basically 1/3 the price of a Scrub Daddy. Don't know what the hype is about. I bought my Dobie Pads in my local grocery store.

🤔 I stopped using cooking sprays because they can be a nightmare to remove, especially on nonstick and glass surfaces. Instead, I use butter when I bake, nothing sticks or burns, and cleanup is so much simpler.

Some manufacturers do not even recommend using sprays because they can actually destroy the nonstick surface of the cookware and bakeware.

I didn't realize that Dobie pads were still around. BTW, many nonstick pans have directions which day not to spray them with PAM type sprays. Once sprayed it can ruin the nonstick properties (some of them say this on the directions).

I thought it would scratch it all up but it didn't. They work really good. He uses them on the bbq grills.

The first thing I rely on for stubborn stickiness is Dawn Power Wash....that is by far the best product I've used. Spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, sometimes add water to soak but only for 10 to 15 minutes. I use Power Wash on almost everything that goes in the sink and then rinse off with a scrub daddy or Dobie. Try it!
