How Do You Open Auguson Farms Large Milk Pail?

I bought the huge Auguson Farms plastic pail of milk, and I can’t get it open. There’s no instructions on the pail, nor can I find anything on the web on how to do it. If you’ve bought this, is there a trick to it? Or am I just a wimp and my hand’s not strong enough? Thanks!

There are instructions with video on their website under FAQ.

Its not easy without one of the wrenches.

I've opened a different product in a pail and it took a lot of strength and patience using a large heavy screwdriver and slowly going around the entire lid.

I just checked and Amazon has one of their wrenches for $6.50.

Thanks so much for the wrench tip, I’ll get one from. I did get the band off using needle nose pliers and using it as a “key” like those old fashioned sardine cans used to have.
