Good evening everyone. House cat I get it. I have cut watermelon to find it tasting like cucumber and I took it back to the store all cur up.my wife said your actuality taking thatback.I'm like yup.I paid for it and I want a new one. When I buy a watermelon I learned to look for really yellow spot.that means watermelon got ripe in the sun so it should be good and sweet. If the spot is white don't but it. It didn't ripen in the sun so it won't be nice and sweet. I spent almost 5 hours get ground ready to put up the pool tomorrow. Yestauday I cooked tortilinni ,hamburger mozzarella and grated cheese and today I cooked pork cutlets , coconut rice and corn with a sauce.chicken broth, flour, sour cream, and fresh dill. And I made a vanilla box cake and I made cream cheese frosting. Everything was delicious. Have a great rest of the week.

I may wait til Sat. to bring it to a family birthday celebration.

Anyway, blueberry muffins today. That's to take over for a granddaughter who happens to really like them.

We're expecting our usual Thursday company today. DH and I are eating with one of our kids tomorrow and then leaving Saturday for several days away so I need to use up a number of things today. I have Polish sausage and hotdogs in the freezer, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, and half a package of bacon, in the fridge.

So, we're going to have:

Choice of Polish sausage or Kirkland beef hotdog (or both)

Tennessee Onions

Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

Chia Pudding w/mixed berries

Sending all leftovers home with our son. He can have the asparagus too. Lol

They look good and DD and I try to go veggie at least a couple times a week. We will see. Going to grill romaine lettuce for a chicken caesar salad too.

Good evening everyone. We rescue cats that reminds me of a time my wife had 3 new meals on the menu and there would be leftovers to.well she didn't like the first meal and the second meal she allso didn't like she said well if I don't like the third meal I'm screwed.she liked the third meal.I think we ordered food out that week. One meal I think was a cauliflower soup. I was eating it and she said I don't know how your even eating it. I can remember making a steak and eggplant meal and when it was done I thought it away. So we all have moments when we were better off not cooking. Tonight's leftover stir fry.I just had to make a cup of rice.

Good morning Foodies.

I won't be cooking for the next several days. I had my chia pudding already. DH and I will be meeting one of our kids later today. He's treating to dinner for my birthday. Then we'll be away from home from tomorrow morning until Tuesday evening. I always take my chia and berries with me. Tomorrow night we're eating at a place where I always get a side salad w/house made bleu cheese dressing, prime rib, and steamed broccoli, so I'm looking forward to that. The rest of the time, food is to be determined but staying on our eating plan is doable. I'll need to shop for produce on Wednesday.

Have a nice weekend everyone. 🌷
