Kaput Keurig

I was cleaning my Keurig and the movable mat under it, tipped the Keurig almost upside down to let water drain. When I placed everything back on my counter, ready for my morning cup,(which I never had) it wouldn't turn on. It's been hours still nothing.

I want a model, any brand, that has a carafe and pod side. so guests have the option of a nicely warmed pot or choose a pod.

I know they're makers which have both, but some can can brew a pot, or use a pod, as there's only one spot to do so.

I want spots for both options, not take the carafe off to place a mug for a pod.

Anyone have/had a brand which can do both at the same time?

@skittles2 I don't know what brand you might want, but I googled "combo coffee maker" and there are a lot of options...including Keurig. Hope you can find what you want!

Have you tried plugging it into another outlet? Is the outlet you're using have GFCI protection and possibly needs to be reset?

Have you done a troubleshooting Google search to see if it's a case of something needing to be rebooted by holding down certain buttons?

Hopefully there is a simple fix so you can take your time deciding on a new model.

@skittles2 As a little food for thought, my DD bought the Keurig Duo this weekend to use at a family gathering. You can only use 1 side at a time because they use the same water tank.

If you are making a pot of coffee no one can use the K-cup side until the pot is finished and you will need to add more water to the tank.

We managed but it was frustrating waiting for the full pot to be ready(takes a long time) to make my K-cup coffee.

Personally, I would have returned it.

What is the length of the warranty on these? They seem way too touchy for me. I think you have to use some form of bottled water that has no additives.

@skittles2 I have a Hamilton Beach model that has the features you want--one side with a carafe for regular drip coffee and the other side for the pods which also accommodates the choose your own pod.

I am a tea drinker and my Significant Other died in 2021 so it now only gets used for company but I am "guesstimating" I've had it about a dozen years. I got it on a Mother's Day sale for under $100.00.
