Ninja Foodi NeverStick pans = request for user feedback

I recently purchased a set of Ninja Foodi NeverStick pots and pans that I'm planning to give as a Mother's Day present. However, I was very surprised at the look and feel of the nonstick coating as well as the overall construction of the pieces in person versus how things appeared in online photos from both Ninja and home users. The pans seem more like cast iron than typical aluminum (even of the highest quality), and they are also heavier than expected.

If you have used Ninja NeverStick pots and pans, would you please reply here and let me know your thoughts? I've read hundreds of reviews (yes, really) but would love to get uncompensated, reliable feedback in a forum where I can hopefully focus the discussion a bit and ask followup questions. Here are the four things I'd most like to get feedback about when considering giving these to my mother:

• How has the nonstick coating held up—and how long have you tested it?

• How have the exterior and coating held up in the dishwasher?
(Please especially share if you have the Vivid Red and can comment on any
fading or other issues with the finish/color.)

• After living with them for awhile, would you consider these pans to be heavy?

• Would you recommend these pans? Why or why not?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH in advance for any input you provide; the last set of pots and pans I purchased for my mother have fared very poorly, especially on the exterior and in overall construction, due in part to regular rounds in the dishwasher (which is a necessity for her). I'd really like to get something that will last for at least 5-6 years.

My friend bought many pieces of that cookware. Spent hundreds of dollars for it. She bought it when it came with a lifetime warranty.

Several of the pans have their nonstick chipping and peeling off. She tried to get them replaced by the warranty but Ninja said they no longer offer their lifetime warranty and so she was out of luck and left with faulty pans. She told me never to buy them.

My friend is now using HexClad from Hell's Kitchen and is extremely pleased with it.

I have two sets of the Ninja PREMIUM cookware. The first one is app. 5 years old and looks brand new. The second set (nesting ones) is about 2 years and looks like new. I do not use metal utensils and they do not go into the dishwasher. I'm very pleased with them. Both sets are hard anodized. HTH

I had an 8" fry pan. It chipped, and the nonstick coating peeled after only a few uses. It sas junk. I threw it away.

Yes, I've had the Ninja NeverStick Premium 10.25" & 12" Fry Pans w/Lids for nearly 2 years now. They are fantastic!. I even purchased a 2nd set for my son. I use mine every day.

They perform and look as good as they day I purchased them. Still never sticks and washes up so easily. I'm a soaker with my pans, but I don't even have to do that with these. A quick wipe out right after cooking removes any and all food residue. If the pan has been sitting for a while, a 60-second soak in warm soapy water is all it takes. I've never had to scrub or hard-rub these pans to get them cleaned. I tend not to put them in the dishwasher because they clean so easily. I can count on one had the number of times they've been in the dishwasher in two years. The brushed nickel handles never scratch, so they stay looking new.

These are sold out, but I'd trust Ninja pans if they're anything like these.
