Which would you chose? Potato Salad or Pasta Salad???

I love potato salad. At events, mine is the first to go.

I love the pasta salad from a tea room here based on ranch dressing.

It would be a hard vote, but I'd pick pasta salad.

I'd take potato salad any day. Don't care for pasta salad at all. IMO pasta and mayo just don't go together.

I like BOTH but only if they're prepared "right" - otherwise I won't waste the calories. For example, I prefer mustard potato salad. You didn't ask about cole slaw, but I prefer the sweeter creamier style to the vinegar style. I don't consider myself to be a fussy eater but I'm trying to be more careful about not wasting calories on things I don't really love because I can no longer overeat without paying the price on the scale and since I'm hypothyroid and have a very slow metabolism it's so much harder to lose weight now than it was when I was young.

I love a pasta salad and its versatility. Potato salad is good but most people makeit with hard boiled eggs which don't like.

I only use egg whites, not the yolk which has cholesterol.

I eat both but am very picky about them; absolutely NO eggs in potato salad, and NO olives or ranch dressing in pasta salad!

I usually would pick potato salad though I like them both but that pasta salad looks so ridiculously good, I'd pick that! Please send it all over!
