Anyone else biting? I bought a a set for me and a set for a gift. Got the rectangle sets too. I'm in the process of converting from L-n-L.

I purchased a set. The red lid ones. Getting rid of my old plastic storage containers. Great price and love Anchor Hocking.

Looks like a good price, but I prefer L&L because they use bore silica glass and Anchor Hocking does not.

This is a great set, I bought a smaller one from HSN a few months ago and we love it!! use them daily. I got mine on a free shipping day.

The TS set is round, but there's is a 5pc set of rectangular, all the same.

If I needed more glass lidded containers I would definitely be buying a set. I prefer this brand and Pyrex over L&L. I bought a glass 8x8 lidded L&L pan last month and absolutely hate it. It's so heavy empty, and ridiculous when loaded with a casserole or brownies. The other brands rate just as high as L&L in my book and work as well, if not better. Wish I needed more glass storage dishes!

Speaking of AH...

In planning for Easter dinner, I realized I need a couple of 9x13's for the Strawberry Layered Salad I'm making. Everyone loves it so I have to make two of them. I went to Walmart with the intention of getting some inexpensive Rubbermaid containers. The size I needed was $12 for one! I found AH baking dishes that size, with lids, for $10 each!

L&L is not air tight and is not worth a hoot in my opinion.

@KatieB It's not the same as the TS, only in square/rectangle. What I purchased was a set of 5 rectangle dishes with lids, all the same size.

i could use them and the price is right, but. the reviews turned me away. I also wish the containers were bigger. I don't need 1 and 2 cup containers.

I got the green one. Husband likes to bring lunch and some of these will work great for that. I have lots of lock n lock but I also like glass for some things. This is a nice set that will get much use.

@YouGoGirl1 Here ya go. This is a keto/low carb recipe. You can make some swaps of your choice, according to your preferences - ie. the brands if cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla extract. Alternative sweetener is a must for keeping it low carb/keto. As for the "jello", you can use the sugar free Jello brand but I don't. It contains maltodextrin, which is something I avoid. I order a my alternative from Amazon. The one drawback is that it contains carrageenan, but I make this allowance on a limited basis. LMK if you have any questions. If you aren't keto/low carb, do a search for Strawberry Pretzel Jello.
