It's $179.99 with free s&h and comes with 4 1.5 pint containers.

I'm so tempted but would have to lose something currently on my counter.

It's so easy for me to go to the store and purchase good quality ice cream. I think I'm just too lazy to make it. I love the idea. Doesn't this make more than the original?

We have one. Hubby bought it. I think he envisioned making icecream for the kids when they are here. That was last summer. The thing is in it's box on top of the kitchen cabinet. He never used it. Some folks in my wellness group use it turn protein shakes into icrcream. I might try that.

This one has larger containers than the first one. But, the main thing it has added is more drink things - like slushies and cocktails and things like that, which I wouldn't use. I am fine with the older one, even though it sounds like a plane is landing in my kitchen.

I noticed in one of the demos, the sorbet was really powdery and she tried to scoop it like it was ready, but if it is that powdery, you need to spin it again to get to the right consistency.

If you are going to use it to make sugar-free ice cream, be prepared to spin it 4-5 times becausre it needs real sugar to get to the right consistency. It takes time, but it gets there. I use it for keto meal replacements and can then eat a pint of ice cream for dinner instead of drinking a glass.

We use ours at least once a week. You can make slushies and frozen cocktails in the original model. It just doesn’t have a preset button.
