Freezer Tetris

I got my bagel order this week and they are delicious. However, my freezer was pretty full and it Took all of my stacking skill to fit those bags in. It reminded me of the old video game. 😄

My last meat shopping trip at IGA caused me to do the same thing; I was so afraid I had more meat than freezer space. I had to resort to stacking my meat packages in the same way I stack wood on the rack in my basement!

@RedTop , I swear sometimes I grocery shop like I think I have an extra freezer, I don't.

If I have any great talent, it is seeing where things will fit. People tell me "that won't fit" and I'll say yes it does, and almost always it does.

My father used to just shake his head, my husband just dies laughing, and never complains when I stand by him and say "Put that here, put this one up the left standing on end, put the round on top of the one on the right" and such. He laughs and says that fit by maybe 1/16th of an inch.

Wish my talent were maybe singing or math or something, but you want a closet organized? I'm your girl!

@QVCkitty1 That's funny! I'll have to remember freezer tetris! I sometimes am forced to eat ice cream for more space. Somebody has to do it!

@QVCkitty1 Sometimes that determines what we are having for dinner.

Too often I buy more freezer items than I can fit in my freezers. So something has to come out of the freezer. That is why I sometimes refer to the dinner menu as "freezer surprise". You never know what food item no longer fits in the freezer.

Must be the week to load up freezers. Made the Costco run and came home and spent a bit of time arranging, rearranging and some curse words might have been involved...but only at myself. Was glad dh wasn't home to witness my freezer project.

We won't be needing much for awhile.

Ha! Due to the rising cost of paper goods, I just bought a 3 year supply of toilet paper. I call the "tower of rolls".....

I know what you mean. I almost blew my small freezer up by packing too many things towards the back

Once I realized the problem, I changed my approach and the strange noises ceased, but I may have shortened the life of the compressor.
