Do you have a portable electric burner you love, or have any warnings based on your knowledge or experience? I'm interested in getting one and I'd like feedback from you. Thanks for your help.

I have one that is the brand BroilKing. I got it on Amazon and it had outstanding reviews....which proved correct. It works as well as an electric stove. I don't use it that often, but I'm glad I have it.

The Cuisinart cooking element in the 'coffee room' at church has been reliable for years. I don't know the model number, but it is heavy and has a stainless steel housing on the outside.

We have one but not sure the brand. We also have an induction burner I bought from Aldi's several years ago. Nobody was buying them so I bought one when they marked them way down. We have used both with no issues.

It's a good thing we have both because we used them when we remodeled our kitchen last year. They sure come in handy. DH uses them outside sometimes.

Have 2 induction burners and a toaster oven and microwave at hunting camp. Who needs a stove?

Been using them for several years now. No problems!

Since I have only 2 burners on my stove, an extra one is kinda a must for me. I have a Wolfgang Puck one that works great for me. I like that I can use any pan on it. I also have an induction one, but never use it since most of my cookware is not induction-friendly.

I have this one that I love and use weekly. It allows me to keep my Sunday sauce simmering at a consistent heat and frees up my cooktop for the million other things I always have going on. It easily acommodates my 5.5 qt LC Dutch oven.

The brand is Tenavo and it's 1800 watts.

I love my two portable induction burners and prefer them to our gas cooktop.

I haven't been able to fall in love with gas cooking. For one thing, the grates scratch the bottom of my prized cookware. And then there's the pain of keeping the cooktop clean.

Really miss the glass electric cooktop I had in our previous home.
