topic Wolfgang Puck 6 Qt VersaCooker in Kitchen

I hate to admit that I was just disloyal to QVC, but I watched HSN this afternoon. I have several of Wolgang's products (love his fryer) and am curious if any of you own the 6 Qt. VersaCooker. I am considering purchasing it even though I already have a slow cooker. The reason I am interested is because they said you can sear in the cooker and then switch right to slow cooker. I would love to hear comments from anyone who owns one.
