I saw these mixes a few months ago in the store and bought just one flavor. They are so good I made a batch of the third flavor today just to try them all. They are a boxed cupcake mix that makes a dozen cupcakes. When you make them you put a cream filling in the middle of each cupcake before baking. They are really good.

I use a small ice cream scoop and put a dollop of batter in each cupcake paper. Then you put a small amount of the filling in and then cover each cupcake with a final shot of batter. You are supposed to cover the filling entirely as when a few times I didn't, there was a small spurt of the filling that came out of the top of the cupcake.

There is yellow cupcakes with vanilla filling, yellow cake with chocolate filling and chocolate cake with vanilla filling (that is the one I made today). Husband, kids and grandkids all just love these.

I think they are a lot of bang for the buck and it looks like you went to a lot of trouble to fill the cupcakes, but there really is not a lot to it. I think this is the first time I ever bought a mix that was specifically for cupcakes. With a regular cake mix, it seems like even though it says it makes 24 cupcakes, they are really puny little things if you make 24. So I am never sure how full to fill the cupcake papers or how many to make. But with this mix designed for cupcakes, there is exactly enough to make 12 really nice looking cupcakes.

I have not seen TV or magazine ads for these Fundamiddles so I thought I would see if any of you guys had bought and tried them.
