topic Ninja 1100 or Vitamix? in Kitchen

They seem to be pushing these two blenders on the cooking shows. The Ninja is so much cheaper but was rated #1 from Consumer's Report. I was surprised, I thought the Vitamix would win. I also see that the Q is going to have another Vitamix TSV soon. So why get a Vitamix over a Ninja 1100 or a Ninja 1100 over a Vitamix? Is the Ninja the better one since Consumer Report rated it #1? Which one would you rather have?
