Coffee maker suggestions

I need to get a new coffee maker. My husband & I together drink a full pot every morning, so we're not interested fiddling around with a Keurig. What's your favorite full pot coffee maker? Thanks for your suggestions.

We have a Cuisinart grind and brew. Makes the best coffee. Been having it for years. We use a one cup most of the time, but this one is great for a full pot. My husband and I like very different coffees now, so a pot is hard to find that we both like. He likes a stronger, darker and I like a more mellow.

We also have a small Mr. Coffee that works great, too.

We have had a Cuisinart for the last 6 years or so. I love the cone shaped coffee holder and think it brews better than the flat shaped ones.

When we have to replace it I will purchase another as we have been so pleased with it.

@Sweet Kitties While I'm more of a tea drinker I do like coffee too.

I've tried them all...not a fan of Keurig, over time, just one of those contraptions that's hard to clean out...bf had one, he stopped using it and went back to instant!

I've used stainless steel pot on the stove...comes very good that way.

I have a Farberware electric pot...not a fan, mom bought it for me years ago, because she had one...never like the way coffee comes (maybe it's what I'm using in it, but it is Dunkin')...grounds always wind up in the bottom etc. Looking to replace also..

Spent time at a friend's in VA in spring...coffee every morning...from her old Cuisinart drip electric pot. Maxwell House coffee. Came out hot, and good every morning.

So now I think I'll buy a small Cuisinart drip next.

Currently I'm drinking instant Folgers. Sometimes also a blend I get at Trader Joe's when they have it...a Columbian Roast. I don't mind instant.

I bought myself a small metallic Cuisinart pot years ago and still use it any morning I have time to enjoy more than a quick cup.

I do use a mini-Keurig, for either for speed or later on a day when I brew one cup of decaf for later in the day.

My son has a Cuisinart and really enjoys it. My husband and I use a 12 cup Black and Decker drip pot. It does the job and isn't expensive.

A basic, no-frills model that works well at a good price. Available at Walmart.

@amyb Agree about Folgers instant. I had a single cup coffee brewer from Hamilton Beach, I think. It lasted about 6 months and I didn't like having to deal with the grounds. I enjoy coffee but Folgers is good enough for me.

Cuisinart works well for me .....mine is the smaller version makes 4 cups...I have tried Keurig just wasn't for me.....

You can't go wrong with a Mr. Coffee. That company was the first to bring it to in-home market. I have owned one since I can remember.

ETA- I bought a separate Mr. Coffee stainless steel insulated carafe to replace the glass one which came with my coffee maker. What a difference that made in the taste of my coffee. Insulated carafes hold less coffee, just so you know.

I have a Hamilton Beach Flex Brew.

You're probably not interested in it 'cause it takes k-cups on one side, perks a full pot on the other side. I only mention this because from my experience it totally excels over Keurig. So you may be interested in the Hamilton Beach brand. Good machine at a reasonable price.

I like a single brew because DH likes plain coffee and I like flavored brewed coffee, along with hot water on demand for my tea. I just posted in the TSV forum that I'm currently fed up with Keurig. I bought a Keurig Supreme Plus close to 2 yrs. and I'm on my fourth replacement. Keurig told me we're maxed out on replacements. Next time I'm in the market, I'm going to do my research and could possibly go with a Ninja or Cuisinart.

We have a Presto percolator that has lasted for many years. I pull that one out when we want a full pot.

Just a simple good ol' Mr. Coffee, very basic drip coffee. Keep it clean with monthly vinegar washouts. We don't need fancy, pricey.

I also have a Hamilton Beach Flexbrew, although we no longer use the k-cup side. It makes very good coffee and has a "bold' setting which I use all the time. It also has a timer which allows me to get the coffee ready the night before and then have it come on the next morning without me having to do anything. The k-cup side works fine but my mother brought a full size Keurig, with a reservoir, wtih her when she moved in with us so we don't need to use that feature on the Hamilton Beach. I've had this coffee maker for over 10 years and it still works very well.

I use a Cuisinart with a thermal carafe. Keeps the coffee hot without that "burn" taste. Bought it at Kohls, love it.

I went back to my Farberware electric perk.

Using a coffee filter is a must..most ground coffee is too fine now.

We drink a full pot every day so we own a Breville ( a bit more expensive but worth it). We use beans (Costco or Sams) and have been using it for five years.

DH and I also drink a full pot every morning. Currently, we're using a Black "n Decker which makes a good cup of coffee. Purchased a Cuisinart which I have on hand whenever the Black 'n Decker stops working. The sale of the Cuisinart at Costco was too hard to pass up. My favorite coffee maker though, is the BUNN.

A drip pot to me makes weaker coffee..The water only goes through the grinds 1x..

My perk pot makes a good strong cup of coffee.
