Glass L&L Question

I ordered the glass L&L popcorn popper. Not to pop corn, but to cook frozen vegetables. Perfect size for 1 lb bag without spilling a lot of moisture under the bowl. But when I refrigerate leftovers, the tabs open up. Not too much of a problem because the seal holds the lid on tight. Has anyone had that happen with the other glass L&L?

Are the leftovers still warm when you put them in the refrigerator?

When I use mine I make sure the tab on top is open then close my side tabs. If the leftovers are still warm I leave the top tab open and close it later. If the top tab is left open in the fridge I have not had a problem with the food drying out.

The leftovers are probably a little warm. I'll try leaving the vent opened. Thanks for your suggestion.
