Why Is A Simple Hamburger So Good.

It is so gosh awful hot and humid out, neither DD or I wanted a full meal.

She had gotten a lb. of ground beef yesterday at Wegmans so hamburgers it was. She had gotten soft seeded rolls, I toasted mine. That hit the spot, enough to satisfy the hunger but not enough to feel too full in this he**ish weather.

In addition, I was surprised the gr. beef was "only" $5.55. It was $7 or $8 bucks a lb. not long ago.

Sometimes simple is best.

I can eat a hamburger any time of the day or night! They are my absolute favorite go-to food.

Love with a good slab of melted sharp cheese. Some burgers better than steak.

They are on our dinner menu tonight. DH will grill them & add cheese, American for him & Swiss for me. Sliced onions, lettuce & sliced tomatoes. Of course ketchup & mustard & buns. Made coleslaw & maybe chips on the side. Dessert? Probably not ... we'll be too full!

I'll take a good burger over a steak or lobster any day. And, fortunately, there are a lot of places that serve up good burgers in my neck of the woods.

Now I'm hungry for a cheeseburger. I haven't had one in awhile. I prefer them on a charcoal or gas grill. Haven't thought about using my air fryer. I'll have to remember that.

I know what you mean!! DD and I eat burgers at least once a week---I buy my beef from a local farmer, usually the ground beef' because he can get wagyu and then 1/2 japanese beef-1/2 american beef mix as well--OMG!!!! So delicious--prices are really good too and those make incredible burgers. My airfryer does a great job cooking them too. Am drooling right now

My favorite buger is a sissy burger. For me that means Mayo (not mustard) lettuce, tomato (no pickles or onion) and yes American cheese. I can actually do without the veg. And no pink which is different from well done.

Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I always order the burger. If they can make a good burger, it's pretty much a sure thing that all else will be good. It's my favorite thing to order.
