Who would buy a pan that is guaranteed 'to stick"?

@SharkE Happy cooking! I'm looking forward to your review after you receive it and start cooking. I bought a non-stick, light weight cast iron pan several years ago, and it didn't work out well. I've been looking for something else ever since.

Lot of people that have the old time cast iron like that, but, I wasn't gonna baby it that much so gave all mine away. A skillet I got long time ago by Wearever was half cast iron , half aluminum is my favorite skillet. It's easy to clean don't have to keep it greased and bake in oven for 20 minutes, etc.

I trust David, too. Don't think he would put his name on something he couldn't vouch for. Smaller skillet too I can fry chicken in it and make my own gravy. I bought what they called gravy the other day from a deli in a grocery store that stuff was as runny as chicken broth. I was afraid it was gonna turn over in my van and leave a mess I'd never get out. Just a watery mess think it was just water, with a tad of flour in it and never thickened up.

Tasted it and thru down sink.

Either make your own using Wondra thickener or buy those packages at Sam's theirs is good too, tad salty for me though. Called Country Gravy.

Think this skillet will be good. Goes in oven too, up to 500'

@SharkE I was interested in it also but wished it had a lid. I know I have lids that would work so I put in my cart and forgot about it.

Some people use olive oil in their nonstick utensils and that ruins the nonstick. Never had a problem with nonstick pans.

Remember they only keep it in the cart for an hour. When I went back it was gone.

I have another brand of this type of pan---it rocks!!!! very nonstick with a lid, is 11" diameter and 3" inches deep with those type of handles--be carefull, they get HOT!!! Use it everyday for everything!!! Mine was from Macys and the brand is Artmartin by Amercook. Think it was on sale months ago for $60-ish.

Have you ever tried the Southeastern Mills brand gravy packet (powder in a packet - add water and cook until thickened)? Takes only a few minutes.

I use their country gravy and it is really good. Don't even have to add anything to it. It has nice thickness. Sometimes I just add a smidgeon more water. For my use, anyway, it's well worth not going through the trouble of making it myself. Plus, I don't like milk so I'd just end up throwing most of it away. this way I get excellent gravy and no waste.

Pleased with David's skillet. made meatloaf in it and no stick at all

added just a little little to the skillet around the hamburger so as not to burn

when done I drained out the water and it slid around the skillet. No

sticking at all.

knew that was gonna be a good buy. Right size too and not that heavy.

Strongly recommend !

washes up nice, too. Love this skillet. David hit a home run on this one

just had to wash with plain water and dishrag. Dryed it good.
