If it ever conks out, I would definitely replace it, BUT why am I not finding any 8 qt. oval models? And even the 6 qt. models don't come in oval, only round. I my experience, having had both oval and round, the oval shape is much better for roasts, ribs, etc., so you don't have to cut or smash the food in there. The 6 qt. would usually be fine but is sometimes a little too small, so why not offer the larger one again? QVC, please get the 8 qt. oval design back.
