I have made a recipe with Heinz 57 Sauce for years which is very easy:

Brown 1 lb ground beef, drain off fat. Add 1/2 tsp salt , 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/3 cup Heinz 57 Sauce. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

This is somewhat of a spicy, sweet recipe.

I am finding it harder to find the Heinz 57 sauce and it is rather expensive. I found this recipe on the Internet recently and have made it several times. I did not tell hubby about the change so he is not aware that it is a different recipe but tastes the same (my dirty little secret!)

Brown 1 lb ground beef, drain off fat. Add 1 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup water , 2 Tbls brown sugar, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp prepared mustard, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes.

Sloppy Joes are one of my favorite things. My mom always made it with ground turkey (she always tried to be healthier in her cooking and said ground turkey was better for us) so that's how I make it.

Also, it has to be sweet. I've seen recipes that don't include brown sugar, and for me that's a pass.

It does sound good though!
