I am a devotee of baking soda. If that fails (which would surprise me), you could try a light hand with Magic Eraser.

BTW, <STRIKE>if</STRIKE> when you find your answer, I'd be interested to learn it.

I agree with the other posters re baking soda paste on a soft cloth and gently rub in a circular motion and rinse. I use it to clean my Le Creuset pans and they look like new afterwards. I realize you said your sink is porcelain and that it was scratched but I would try this method first. It can't hurt. Good luck.

Yikes! Just WATCH OUT if you're going to use a Mr. Clean eraser!! It's take the finish off! Yes It'll get rid of the mark but it will forever be a dull area. I learned the hard way when these erasers first came out. I was at my parents house and bragged about these wonder cleaners and I went up and down their hallway walls. Got all of the marks off but as I stood back to admire my handiwork OMG dull marks all down their hallway! My dad was not a happy camper that he had to then repaint their hallway walls!

If none of the aforementioned suggestions delete the scratch, perhaps it's not metal transfer, and maybe the surface needs further repair. A surface repair company like Surface Specialists and others could do an awesome job bringing the new porcelain sink back to its original state. These service companies can be googled to find a local one.

@kittyloo I don't know this, but would be concerned about damaging the sink's finish with muriatic acid.

Last night I Googled, "titanium scratch marks on porcelain." An old (British) website was in the search list, finishing<dot>com. At that site is a long conversation about this very issue, husbands' rings and watches leaving scratch marks on sinks. One particular item seemed to be the solution for several folks: Cramer China & Bath Rubber/Scuff Remover, available on Amazon for $13. I looked at the photo, and to my inexperienced eye, it looks for all the world like a pumice stone. (I have frequently read that, without marring the surface, a pumice stone is good for removing water stains in a toilet bowl.)

Other people said they found 400-600 grit sandpaper to be effective, but, again, I'd worry about dulling the finish if rubbed too vigorously.

Good luck with your search! I empathize because my DH knocked a large chip in our kitchen $ink bowl within 24 hours of installation.

Contact the manufacturer.

If all else fails, they do make paint for porcelain sinks/tubs. I have used it in the past and it's super easy and you could not tell that it was not original.
