Rice Cooker

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good rice cooker? I'm looking for something small (say 3 to 5 cups). It's time I replace the Aroma rice cooker I have had for longer than I can remember. I'd prefer something with a stainless steel inner pot.

I have an instant pot and do not like how the rice comes out of it.

I love my Instant Pot for cooking rice. I had to experiment a little bit to find exactly how I liked it cooked but it comes out great. I would suggest trying it before you buy another rice cooker.

We have had Zojirushi rice cookers for at least 20 years I'd say and they are great!

There is a small black and stainless colored one that is not too expensive (relatively speaking) that also makes steel cut oatmeal, has a delay timer, and is great at rice too!

Check out black friday prices and see if you can get one at a good price!

YES, YES, YES! Zojirushi makes the BEST rice cookers. We have one and NEVER cook rice any other way. Buy one...you won't regret it!

I agree Zojirushi is the best. If I ever got another one that's what I would get. I have one I got when I taught in Japan that I had converted to American outlets when I came back. It's by Panasonic. DH has tried to get a new one for years, but I'm too sentimental. We still use it all of the time and it makes perfect rice!

I have a small cuisinart one I bought years ago from Williams Sonoma. Perfect size for just the two of us.

I have one of these too, and I really like it. My bread machine is also a Zojirushi, I like this brand really well. I got mine at Amazon

I'd get the Instant Pot Mini because it cooks rice great but you can also cook lots of other things. More versatility. It's the same reason I bought an IPad instead of just an ereader.

@LilLadyNJ I make rice , white and brown, in the instant pot and it's great. Try Amy + Jacky's recipes. They're perfect.
