Popular Goodies For A Bazaar

Anyone here know of popular Christmas Goodies to make for a church bazaar? I want to make something but nothing I have to roll out as far as cookies are concerned. Don't have the patience.

I can think of a few goodies,but I doubt if much will sell. I also think we are soon going to have another lock down.

I think brownies are always popular. Put some frosting on them and sprinkle with broken up peppermint candy to dress them up and make them more festive.

No one in this state is having bazaars. No gatherings of more than 5 people starting Weds.

I can't imagine that these are being held during a pandemic.

@cuddlesmama There is a copycat recipe on line for Starbucks cranberry bliss bars that are excellent. (cookie bottom/white chocolate pieces/dried cranberries/cream cheese frosting) I make them every year and they taste just like Starbucks version. Make them in a 9x13 pan, frost, and then cut into diamond shapes. Just search online for Starbucks cranberry bliss bars and there are several recipes and pictures.

I would try those or coconut macaroons with 1/2 of the cookie dipped in chocolate. Those are ridiculously easy and you can get the dipping chocolate at Aldi's for only a couple of dollars. If I recall, just a couple of ingredients - coconut and either evaporated or condensed milk, and may one or two more ingredients. Just make the cookies (drop) and then heat the chocolate in the microwave and dip the cookies in it and let cool so the chocolate hardens...YUMMY.

My mom has a recipe for drop stye soft coffee/raisin cookies with mocha frosting - those are incredible fresh or frozen. I could eat 10 at a time! If you want the recipes for any of these, let me know and I'll dig them out.

Like you I can't imagine having any kind of sales or gathering at this time. Also wouldn't people be afraid to buy something because of the pandemic especially food?

we tried to have a lunch/snack after a work party at church a couple of weeks ago.

absolutley NO homeade food of any type.

everything had to be purchased. individuals bags etc.

The school where my daughter held Fall Festivals. I've made banana nut bread in large and small sizes in those pans from the dollar store and wrapped them up in celaphane. Other popular items were always: cupcakes, cookies, fudge, brownies, some people would make one large cake.

Condensed and evaporated milk are the same thing. I think you are thinking of Eagle Brand milk which has sugar (makes the best fudge)in it. Regardless I see no bazaars coming up here in Michigan.
