If so I'm in trouble 😆! I just gifted this to my son and DIL. They raved about C.S. kinetic scale, so I thought this might be a nice gift too. I have the digital thermometer, the one that is magnetized and battery operated; it's great. Only thing, the magnet isn't strong enough to stick to the oven. I'm not sure if it's still available. Please let me know if it's the kinetic one, that's a problem. Thanks.

I started with a basic thermometer, then added timers and the Chef Alarm, which has a higher temp ceiling than my original thermometer. I also gave one to someone who mucked it up by recalibrating it unnecessarily, and ThermoWorks proved to have terrific customer service in handling the replacement.

I believe their flagship product, the Thermapen, is made in England. Not sure where anything else is manufactured.

They will not honor warranties of Thermoworks products bought on Amazon and eBay. I've never had problems buying from them directly.

I adore Curtis Stone, but have noticed that his gizmos and electronics don't fare as well in the ratings as his cookware and implements.
