Your Favorite Chinese Take Out Food.

DD is bringing Chinese for dinner tonight. I usually get Garlic Chicken or shrimp fried rice. I love the Garlic Chicken so much that the last time I got it DD asked if I wanted to be alone with it. Yes, she's a smart azz. No idea where she gets it from. lol

I have had chicken and broccoli in the past.

I have been known to have leftover Chinese for breakfast.

I am in a rut, what is your favorite Chinese take out food?

I LOVE shrimp egg foo young and gravy and shrimp fried rice but I also like chicken and broccoli, I like Lo Mein. well now I am starving. Thanks

@CrazyKittyLvr2 My favorite Chinese food is Chicken Chow Mein, (but only from my home town restaurant).
My mother and I would eat there when we went downtown shopping or to a movie. I didn't know there was anything else to order because we always got it.
They chop the vegetables very fine and cook it a long time. The chicken is shredded on top. Their egg drop soup is made with rice. It all has a special taste from my childhood. My son agrees!
The restaurant in town closed when the town did and stores and theaters moved to shopping centers, but it moved closer to where I lived as a teenager and is still there about 20 miles away.
NOW I WANT CHINESE ! 🍜 🥡 🥢

I got chicken lo mein the other night, when we did take out. Loved it, and had the leftovers the following day.

I have two favorites love Pork Chow Mein and Egg Foo Young. Our favorite resturant use to make almond fired chicken and it was juicy and moist, a huge platter full of chicken. Sadly they sold and the new owner doesn't offer it. We have Chinese dinner a couple times a month.

Cashew chicken with lots of veggies, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken. There's a place (now closed) that made the most wonderful Snow Shrimp in coconut cream sauce.

We bring in Chinese food nearly every Friday for dinner. My all time favorite is Sesame Chicken with Beef with Broccoli coming in a close second.My favorite appetizer is steamed dumplings.Yummy !! 🥡🥢🥟

I agree with @PA Mom-mom about Singapore Shrimp Mei Fun or Shrimp with Lobster Sauce or Seven Stars Around the Moon.

Moo Goo Gai Pan or Chicken Almond Ding, or Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables. I like the steamed dumplings and the barbecued spare ribs, too.

Now I'll have Chinese food on my brain.

@NicksmomESQ I forgot about steamed dumplings. DD loves them and you get a lot to an order. Occasionally I take one of hers.

The place we go is great. It's about 30 miles away but on DD's way home from work.

The last order we got they gave her a bag of fried wontons and their homemade duck sauce. Those puppies were good. Not healthy but good.

@aroc3435 Our plan is settling in with our Chinese food and watching TV. Oh, and doing Petunia 500 runs with her laser thingy. Real exciting life we have, right. lol

P is taking advantage of the extra attention after her fall out the upstairs window.

The outdoor crew knows when it's near DD's arrival time. They start gathering and wait for dinner to be served.
