I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and noticed a product new to me in the canned vegetable aisle --Vegi-rice (broccoli with cauliflower /sweet potato/ & some others I think. I picked up the package and figured it would have long syllable preservatives in it. It says preservative free .

ingredients Broccoli 60% & Cauliflower 40%. I purchased it . I have not tried it yet. I went to the website Fullgreen.com and couldn't find recipes . It was $3.?? I signed up for thier e-mails that were supposed to offer recipes. I figure it may be good for something.

I have been trying the 5:2 diet --with more success than other plans I have tried and a certain comfort level I have not found on other plans. I thought it may be useful on the 2 part (2 days at 500 calories )

Anyone else use or see this product ?

I enjoy the frozen riced veggies from Green Giant. But I'm not crazy about canned veggies. I guess I would try them if they were on sale or I had a coupon.

I use riced veggies all the time too. Many of the popular brands have now and I always buy the veggie ones only. No sauces or spices.
