I used a granite chip fix product that I found at Lowe's to fix a chip I had on my kitchen counter. It was chipped when the fridge was put in. It's a 2 step product and then I found a paint that matched very close. It's still good after several years but I've touched up the paint. I do a lot of repairs myself.

I have a little chip at the edge of my granite countertop near the sink edge. The company said they don't sell anything to fix it. Sending someone out would be expensive. I see there are several mentioned on Youtube. Does anyone have any experience with any that work?

I had the same issue. I contacted the company that installed my countertops and they had two options - one was to send a tech out to repair it for about $150 and and other option was for me to purchase a kit (with a clear epoxy) to fix it myself. I chose to have the tech repair it. I don't know if QVC allows names of companies, but check with Precision Countertops - just do an online search. Mine was just a small chip, but enough to irritate me! Good luck!

I have an onyx dining room table. A few years ago it chipped. I was heartbroken.I called a local furniture store & they gave me the name of a countertop maker.I called & explained my situation. They sent somebody to fix it .It cost around $125.
It was well worth it. I can't even tell it had been chipped.

I had a chip in my granite near the backsplash. When I had our installers come out to fix it, it looks like they used a wad of gum. It looks horrible. I'm just grateful that its in the back and not noticable. Good luck.

How common is this? I always regretted putting in Formica 13 years ago and was thinking about replacing it with granite.. The bathroom is some sort of composite stone, but it seems to show scratches.
