I really like the grill but I cannot use non-stick because I have birds and if non-stick overheats, the fumes can instantly kill my birds. I do have his pans though that I purchased around 1998. I got such a deal on these at the time. They are still great and I use them everyday. I love those pans. I also have a blender that they do not make anymore. I make my smoothies in it. It was 1/2 the price of the Vitamix and it does all of the same things. Even makes soup. I am so happy with that purchase too. I learn a lot when I watch him. He works so fast.

I have a lot of his products. When I first discovered QVC and HSN after my husband died (now almost 10 years ago), I went bonkers buying stuff (I never cook or use but they look good).

My house looks like a QVC and some HSN warehouse. But I think my daughter would use that TSV of his.

I didn't know that about non-stick grills. I don't own birds, just Jack the cat. I learn something new here every day.

Thanks for teaching me something.

I'm not sure about that grill ts- the presentation I saw, they didn't show the removable drip gray (as stated in the description). They didn't show how to change the plates. Or with both sides of the grill, if the plates can be changed (& then also cleaned in the dishwasher). Too many vague references in a 15 minute presentation!

Any electrical appliance can cause electrical shock and/or fires...Nature of the beast......I know that I for one, have sneezed in my kitchen, had a runny nose, handled raw meat, and so on and so on........BUT.....I have a sink, with running water, and a pump soap dispenser on my sink.......YES......I wash my hands, and my soap dispenser frequently, but staged cooking shows, and demonstration areas on shopping channels, have no running water, and this is not always possible......They are demonstrating, and you are held responsible for YOUR sanitary practices........Many a celebrity chef has had a recall on one of their products, and not all products of the same item 100% have the same issues.........User practices are sometimes the cause of the fault with an item.........I personally own the pressure cooker of CE fame, meaning the 8 qt oval, and have been using it since the early 1990's, and have never had a single problem, and it is still in use to this day.......BUT others have had it die, or need to find replacement parts (again, my gaskets are like new, and have never had a stem break off), so no matter what you buy......YOU are always taking a chance.......I learn from demonstrations of many cooks, and look at this as a whole, and not judge against the conditions that they must cook under, or the natural body functions that may occur when they are cooking, as we all have them, but OUR own home kitchen have different environments than a made up studio cooking arena.......I personally feel that I learn more about a product, and the uses of a product, on those offered on HSN, over the ones on Q......More actual cooking goes on their, than on the Q....I personally prefer to see this, to make a more solid decision on buying a product.......Happy cooking to everyone who has the equipment that helps them to best cook for their family........

I love when Wolf is on because he actually cooks! Think this grill is really going to be nice compared to my George Forman. The presentation I watched did show them removing the plates, just push buttons on each side and it popped right off. Did not see a demo of the grease tray removal but the animation showed it so I am not concerned about that. In terms of the pressure cooker, I have 3 different pressure cookers, all 8 Qt and Wolf's is the best. Does a wonderful job and the most convenient even with the basic dial, etc. Give it a try. I have yet to be dissatisfied with a Wolfgang product.

I'm not a fan (he's kinda gross), but I hope people who enjoy his shows find stuff they like.

I would be really cautious with his electrics, however. He has made some truly, profoundly, inferior electrics. Sure, there are recalls out there all the time but some companies make better products than others as a general rule.

A couple of the worst of his kitchen electrics were a convection oven, that caused fires, and a blender that they likened to Vitamix, that also had severe smoking and fire problems.

But I had to laugh at some of the reviews on both of these items - people who had smoking, ruined counters and cabinets, and even fires, were giving them five stars. They would mention those problems but 'I love this and I love Wolfgang!'. yikes!

Anyway, just buyer beware. When they manufacture products that tend to have electrical problems it's concerning to say the least.
