The sauce has a pleasant tomato flavor that's not overwhelming or too acidic. This was the only organic brand of the bunch (and the cheapest per ounce!) with no additives or sugar added. It also contains 25% of your daily vitamin C, which tied with Rao’s for the highest in the group.

Rao's is .28/ounce

Rao's has No sugar:

Our sauces have no tomato blends,

no paste, no water, no starch, no filler, no colors, no added sugar.

Apparently that is why it costs more.than Trader Joes, Ragu, etc.

It was hands down the best rated on America's Test Kitchen.

After making the same mistake years ago, I stopped mixing the sauce in with the spaghetti. I keep them separate...put the cooked spaghetti on the plate, then top with however much sauce I want. Much easier to "catch" a mistake with overcooked pasta, and not waste all the sauce if I goofed!

IMO, overcooked cooked pasta is horrible.
No self respecting Italian would eat pasta other than if cooked "al dente".

Try saving your overcooked spaghetti by making Chinese tomato beef chow mein. Add sliced green bell peppers, onions, and (optional) curry powder if you like.👍. Use a little vegetable oil and stir fry on high heat to make the noodles crispy. Non stick skillet or wok helps.

~Life is short. You may die tomorrow.
Eat well. Because you are what you eat.~
