I made a vinaigrette based pasta salad yesterday for a picnic today, I like to let the flavors 'marry.' This am I now find the salad is too bitter. It needs to be sweetened just a tad. Can I add sugar? will it dissolve or be gritty? Grrrrrr!

Any help would be appreciated.
