Used Jojoba oil on my kitchen table

Decided to “oil”my natural wood table. I usually use orange oil or paste wax, all I had was jojoba oil. Not sure how it will hold up to daily cleanings?

Some oils become rancid when used for the wrong application. I have a solid slab walnut coffee table on which I was told to use nothing but boiled linseed oil. I apply it with extremely fine steel wool. Treat it about once a year.

I use lemon oil for my antiques. It works great and is resprcted by anyone that works with wood. I get it in the grocery store or hardware stores.

I heard about rancidity, I didn’t think about it.
Im trying to do jobs I’ve been putting off. And didn’t want to go to store.

jojoba does not oxidize or turn rancid. It has an indefinite shelf life and will help extend the shelf life of your essential oil mixes.
